Frequently Asked Questions
Here are the more common questions with their answers.
I need to change my registration details (error in information, change in division, change in weight). What do I need to do?
Send us an email with the corrections. It only takes a few minutes to change, and we typically will respond within a few hours. If you need to
change your weight class or anything that affects the brackets, make sure you do so before the late registration deadline.
I'm competing gi and no gi. Do I weigh in twice?
No. When you sign in at the front door, we'll hand you a card with your name and the divisions you are competing in. When your first match is
called, you'll weigh in at that time. Your weight will be recorded on your card and used for future divisions.
Where can I see a list of rules?
You can review the rules by visiting this link:

What are the rules regarding uniforms?
Gi and No Gi rules are specifically addressed in the rules in chapter 8 (pages 28-30). Again, the rules are here:

I've registered, where do I see the schedule and my bracket?
We don't begin working on the schedule and bracket until registration is closed. We try our best to make our tournaments run as efficiently as
possible. So, once all registrations are in, we begin filling in brackets and calculating the amount of time each division needs to complete. This
helps us be able to give pretty specific times on when your division is scheduled to begin. Because of this, schedules are typically posted a day
or two before the tournament.
I don't always receive your emails, where else can I find out more information about your tournaments?
You can always visit our website:
http://www.AmericanGrapplingFederation.com however our
Facebook page is updated often. We use this account to
send announcements, contest information, and general information about our tournaments.
